A favorable synoptic setup, supported by a well-positioned monsoon trough and persistent moisture transport from the Arabian Sea, continues to fuel persistent rain-bearing clouds across northwest India. Many areas are experiencing moderate to heavy rainfall, while isolated pockets are receiving very heavy to extremely heavy downpours accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.
