@Dreamboum Yeah if it was as bad as its detractors say I wouldn’t have gotten into the series, but all of the remakes become so much more inferior when you play the originals. The only ones on even ground are 1 and 1R.

RE2R is not as bad as RE3R but it absolutely failed in a lot of areas to live up to the original. I still enjoyed it for what it was but man, just thinking about how the intro of the original was so incredible and they turned the trek to the RPD into a 10 second trot is absurd

We rightfully criticize RE3R for the abomination it was but honestly we don’t talk enough about how unfaithful Resident Evil 2 Remake was. Cut scenarios, interconnectivity, enemy variety, boss variety, puzzles, story consistency. Introduced parallel universes 💀😆

@soonrightaway Similar to my recent playthrough of resident evil 6 I’m fascinated by this like I am by that game even though they’re repellant. Both are like arcade games with the scope of a blockbuster; RE6 is like a light gun game and this is Dragon’s Lair with Simon Says prompts
