People lose their lives to psychological and emotional abuse. I almost did. This kind of abuse isn’t just about hurt feelings. It distorts your reality, destroys your self trust and esteem, traps your body in chronic survival and can wear you down mentally, physically and spiritually until you collapse. And then the ones who harmed you will point at your collapse as evidence you are the problem. People need to stop talking about these relationships like they are just difficult or “toxic.” For many, they are life threatening.

Everything a Narcissist accused you of, write it down, that list isn't your confession. It's theirs. It reflects the things they couldn’t face within themselves, the traits they projected onto you to avoid accountability.

Malignant narcissists/psychopaths often stare into the eyes of their targets just after hurting them emotionally, mentally, sexually, physically. The stare is often accompanied by a subtle smirk. My data indicates the stare is to enjoy the pain being experienced by the victim.

A narcissist will jump from an intelligent, accomplished empath to an uneducated caretaker simply because the empath saw who they were and required them to change. Meanwhile, the caretaker is just grateful to be in their presence.

With narcissists, apologizing for what you didn’t do isn’t peace... it’s confirmation. They don’t reflect, they record. One apology becomes proof they were right… and permission to push further.
