Shanti was born in 2008 at Binder Park Zoo. Her mother, Lotus, neglected her as a child so she was raised with puppies. Ironically, Shanti later raised 8 cubs herself and became a great mother!

Ling Xiaozhe is a wild snow leopard from China, rescued in 2025. He was suffering from infections, dehydration, malnutrition and a spinal injury. He paid many visits to the vet and now lives in Xining wildlife park, where he will probably spend the rest of his life recovering
