Lots of #worldbookday characters have arrived in class 8 today. We are writing book reviews, reading our stories and having lots of fun discussing our books with our friends. @WorldBookDayUK

As part of our Immersion week, we looked at the traffic problems, outside our school. The children decided that they would write letters to Hawarden community council about the issue. Thank you to Mr Turton @TURTS5 for collecting them on our behalf. @NWPolice #parksafe

We had a lovely surprise today when the puppets came to share the story of the Nativity in 'Bethlehemian Rhapsody' complete with two rock guitarists. Thank you everyone @st_deiniols We thought it was great!

Last weeks autumn leaf patterns and sorting after listening to 'The Leaf Thief' by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater.

It was a chilly one today but we decorated our Christmas Trees with natural objects after listening to 'The Tree that was meant to be' by Yuval Zommer

The children have really enjoyed their outdoor day. We completed some activities on sorting and classifying linked to Autumn. Bendigedig! ⭐️#hvcsambitiousandcapable
