Year 2 joined a virtual author visit today with Mariajo Ilustrajo who told us all about where she gets the inspiration for her books and illustrations. She even showed us how to draw two characters from her picture book “I hate/ love books” which she then read to us. #reading

A great virtual lesson with author Rachel Bright! Rachel read us two of her amazing stories “The Camel Who Had The Hump” and “The Lion Inside” both accompanied by our sound effects. She then taught us how to draw Cuthbert the camel. We hope you like these camels by Van Gogh class

Today Van Gogh class have been practising telling the time using some online games. It was lots of fun trying to find the matching pairs. #maths

@Y2Ops The children in Matisse class have enjoyed the 'Robin Hood' experience day taking part in Archery, making hats in the style of Robin Hoods, made bows and arrows from cardboard during our maker session and finally working with the Partake Theatre. #playlearnandgrowtogether
