None of us expected @Somnia_Network to treat its community with such disregard. Yes, the project rewarded the testnet very well, which is why many people continued doing quests in the mainnet. The Somnia team always seemed to pay attention to the issues the community talked about. We, as the community, genuinely believed in the team and in the Somnia project. But today that trust was broken. The CEO of the project, @0xPaulThomas , openly said that they originally wanted to allocate more rewards to the community for S5, but because of launching new projects they decided to reduce the rewards several times over. @0xPaulThomas , bro, who even needs your new projects if this is how you treat the community that worked for you for 8 months? And what happens if you launch a few more projects later, then suddenly say your prediction markets and DEXes are “old narratives”, and now we all need to start farming points somewhere else again with more deposits? Obviously the team does not care what the community thinks anymore, so maybe it’s time for us to move on. Thanks for the testnet, @0xPaulThomas . Hope you find a new community for your future projects. Hopefully they get treated better than we did.

If the goal is to reward actual community commitment rather than bot speed, then the mechanism needs to reflect that.
Right now, the market behavior says one thing: instant flips win. But Odyssey 2.0 could say something smarter.
What if holding becomes part of the strategy?
A simple but effective shift: tie weekly Odyssey rewards to NFT retention. Not just participation, but commitment. If S5 participants choose to sell early, their share of unlocked rewards scales down accordingly. Those who hold…..who actually believe in the ecosystem….benefit proportionally more.
This does two things at once:
• Disincentivizes bot-driven instant dumping
• Realigns rewards with long-term community members
Fast hands shouldn’t beat strong hands in a system built on engagement.
Right now, bots are playing a latency game. The team has an opportunity to turn it into a loyalty game.
That’s a much harder system to exploit…and a much better one to belong to.

Do you think the current price reflects the actual value of the NFTs, now that the "XP boost" buff is gone?
Seeing so many NFTs being dumped right after the snapshot makes me worried that SOMI might face similar sell pressure after the airdrop...
