Let’s turn up the volume for eight elite Americas High School Trailblazers who just made it official! These standout competitors have signed their letters of intent and are stepping confidently into the next chapter—ready to raise the bar both in their sport and in the classroom. They’ll continue competing in football, soccer, softball, baseball, and basketball at New Mexico Highlands University, Odessa College, Texas Tech University, El Paso Community College, and Western Colorado University. Congratulations, Trailblazers! Your hard work has earned this moment, and the best is still ahead!
Early voting is underway! The Finance & Operations Advisory Committee (FOAC) — made up of community members, parents, and staff — recommended Proposition A to help provide sustainable funding for #TeamSISD schools with no increase to the total tax rate. 🗳 Ballot note: State law requires the ballot to say “increase,” but Proposition A does not raise the overall tax rate.
