On Sat 2nd Feb Val Fikhter represented the Yclub in Durham in the Northern Schools Championship  Val played in the Under 18's singles even though he has only just turned 15  Val and Camille (from Durham) were too strong for the others and their final was the stand out game 👏 👏

On Sat 27th & Sun 28th Jan the Ladies National Championship was held at the Yclub Manchester -great to hold this event again here in the North. Pippa Dobney represented the Yclub and was drawn against Shinan Zhang ranked 5th in the country Big congratulations to Pippa well done🏆

Xtreme Hip Hop is a combination of Xtreme cardio, the step board, hip-hop music and lots of swag to provide participants with a fresh spin on an old concept 🔥 We are making STEP great again… starting from tomorrow (Wednesday 10th January) at 17:30pm… are you ready!? 🔥

The fun-filled event kicks off at 10 pm and will include a live DJ set from Hits Radio DJ Jordan Lee, a traditional countdown to midnight, followed by a huge firework display to celebrate the start of the new year in MCR Grab a drink from the Castlefield Hotel bar on the night!

We officially opened The John Pellowe Studio on Friday and were really pleased that John’s son, Tim, was able to visit (here with our Chair Carol O’Hare). John was a member of the Y Club for over 65 years and served as President up until this year. He will be greatly missed.
