As someone working in a financial institution, I’ve seen people lose everything just because they gave out their password or OTP to a random caller promising “you’ve won something.”
Greed, lack of awareness, and hardship are costing people more than they realize.
How do we fix this? Education or stricter systems?

It's been up to four days my cousin thought he had lost his ipad,after accusing his fiance of been careless and carried away.
It all started last weekend when he was off from work and deciding to take us clubbing with his babe as a bad guy normally I tagged along after several bottles getting drunk, stoned i barely held consciousness of myself that night after the party we headed home everything seemed normal till the next morning he discovered his ipad was missing, in panic called the phone severally it was already switched off.
He went back to the club arena because he had a pal who worked there reporting incase of a missing ipad was found that he was the rightful owner and even tipped him. After searching throughout the weekend and eventually gave up he could never had thought the phone he was looking for was staring at him along in his car seat thesame car he would use and drive to work since the past couple of days he didnt notice until he purchased a new one and later found the profound missing ipad in his car seats in exact camouflage as the seats colour.
Do you think he was careless or just felt reluctant and gave up easily when searching for the phone?
