@drakhatos ty, I encountered this rarely sometimes and i've still got no idea what causes it, definitely something to do with the ladder. until I find a complete fix hitting save and continue will take you back to wherever you were

This also happened to me in level 7 in a moment where I got hit by an Anti Fairy, and right into a Wallmaster which went up without me, but I ended up in that pitch-black area once again. There was something in level 8 which also got me into that area, but forgot what it was.

@YFan2018 First softlock I've experienced is that I got damage-boosted by level 4's boss, ending up on a ladder spot I shouldn't be and couldn't leave. Think it happened when I was on the tile below where I am on the screenshot, and got damage-boosted upwards.
