The world record for the largest indoor bowls lesson has been set at a club in Rutherglen today. More than 150 people gathered this morning as part of the countdown to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Among them was Scottish Olympic basketball player Kieron Achara who had to give up playing lawn bowls when he was younger because they didn't make shoes his size. World champion Stewart Anderson, who's hoping to compete next year, was on hand to coach participants.
