The #PandemicAccord negotiations are still ongoing — the Member States have agreed to resume on Tuesday, after working through the night without any sleep for more than 24h non-stop. We’re very grateful for their commitment. I’m deeply thankful to my colleagues, @WHO staff, who are supporting the negotiations around the clock. They truly make me #ProudToBeWHO.

At the first in-person Global Model WHO, youth delegates urge swift action on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, and urged Member States to successfully conclude their negotiations on a global pandemic agreement.   Global Model WHO is a realistic simulation of the World Health Assembly, the world’s peak health decision making body.   Over 350 youth delegates from 52 countries worked collaboratively to draft resolutions addressing topics incl. climate change, pollution and health, mental health, antimicrobial resistance, the Global Health and Peace Initiative, tuberculosis control, and polio eradication bit.ly/40uR2R7
