This past weekend YMS wrestlers competed in Sectionals. Foxes who qualified for State include 1st pl. finishers: AJ Triner, Landon Lankford, Brady Robertson. 2nd pl. Grayson & Liam Sondelski, Coltyn Montgomery; 3rd pl. Connor Murray, Jeremy Kubeczko, Henry Otero, Brady Janosek.

8th Gr. Girls BB A team had a hard-fought win vs. Heritage Grove. B team won w/ Ianna Sapp leading w/16 pts, Kiki Popoola w/10 & help from Landry Kotesky, Leighton Keenan, Autumn Nydegger, Emerson Dellaringa, Reilley Hren. On defense Daliah Cuevas, Payton Mander & Elyse Ekwinski

8th Girls BB A team beat AuxSable 45-13. Alyssa Simon led 17 pts, Caylee Hoffmann 12 pts, Alyivia Simon, Morgyn Knutson, Carolina Aguilar w/ 4. Undefeated B team HUGE win 40-5. Top scores were Autumn Nydegger & Ianna Sapp. Other ctb. were Payton M, Emerson D Reilley H & Landry K

7th grade Girls BB A team played an exceptional game to beat undefeated Timber Ridge 25-18. Mae Pfaff led offensively w/ an impressive 15 pts. Nora Meyers came up huge defensively. The B team put up a hard fight but ultimately lost 16-13 Erin Ketchmark led the Foxes with 7 pts.

YMS wrestling foxes won their final home dual of the season 87-24 last night. The team has 10 wins and three losses for the season going into their final dual.
