An honour to attend the @YRP Afro Canadian Caribbean Internal Support Network Gala this evening, celebrating the rich culture, vibrant heritage and inspiring leadership of our Afro-Caribbean community.

We’re incredibly proud of our members who stepped up today in support of our community for #CNOY with @BlueDoorSupport staff and took part in a 30km walk supporting individuals and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. #SupportingOurCommunities

In 2007, Nova Scotia Grade 12 students David and Travis saw a grade 9 student bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school. They went out and bought #pinkshirts to support the bullied student. The next day, hundreds joined them. #BeKind #PinkShirtDay

Congratulations to Chief MacSween on 37 years in policing. He led the service through evolving changes that required integrity, resilience and a genuine care for both members and the public. We are grateful for his leadership and wish him all the best in his retirement.
