A little update on what's happening. Things have kinda settled a little. My region was bombed, but not my city. The city is accepting thousands of refugees from more dangerous regions, and I'm being the part of the process too. I'm safe, just don't really have much to post about.

Meanwhile groceries are like this. Looks like they are out of rice and stuff, but have a shit ton of unsold ramen.

@MoisMous_ They are past the point of no return. They'll not stop now.

Also looks like russian troops are going for the scorched earth tactics. Civilian buildings are being bombed in cities in active warzone.

On civil life: - Prices are up 25-30 per cent, on everything - Alcohol sales is banned - City is patroled

It's the first of march. Since today Ukrainian soldiers will be recieving ~3000 USD per month. Families of fallen soldiers will be recieving 300.000 USD of compensation. For comparison, russian soldiers are getting 300-600 USD per month.

The talks ended, no compromise was found. Both delegations are returning to capitals, new round of conversations will start in several days. Which means, the war will go on.

A calm night again. The warzone area has settled for now. The first peaceful talks start today. I don't really now if compromise exists here, but we'll see how it goes.

Night's been calm, everything seems alright. President recorded the new morning video, so oficially Ukraine held for another day. We'll see what today has for us.

It is surpisingly calm today. Which makes me think some bad stuff will happen at night.

Exchanges get back to work. 1USD is now worth 36UAH (used to be 28uah per 1usd before war). Those are private entrepreneurs selling currency though, no official exchange operations are held now.

@TheIndieJurnee I am working in the city 🤷‍♂️. Days are calm and life is just regular, it is only dangeroua in the night.

@YTApps2 Are you still planning to head further out of town?

So I am in the city rn. Panic buying is over, but goods are over too. Pharmacies are low on meds, groceries are low on food, gas stations sell 20 litres per person. Exchanges and banks are closed for second day in a row.

@Kephan10 Got plenty of mushrooms growing in the walls of bomb shelters lol. Those things were unmaintained since forever.

A visit to local grocery: Bread

Most places still accept card payments, but some are cash-only already. ATMs give out 3000 UAH (~90usd) per person per day. It is still possible to withdraw money in multiple ATMs though.

Morning guys. Night's been calm, all sirens no bombs. Light, water and internet still functioning. Looks like panic buying period is over, at least there are no lines on gas stations. Guess, there'll be no gas though.

@TheIndieJurnee Some sorts of marks for aviation. It is not known what exact purpose is. My best guess is that they are marking civil buildings, so they don't get bombed.
