Strengthening Youth Voices for Regional Development! YandyTech Community, in collaboration with Bridge Connect Africa Initiative and other key stakeholders, paid an advocacy visit to the Kaduna State Ministry of Youth Development to formally introduce the Northwest Youth Development Consortium. This initiative is part of the Youth Leading Change Programme, implemented by Bridge Connect Africa Initiative with support from the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund. The visit created an opportunity to engage with the Ministry on strengthening partnerships that empower young people across the Northwest region to actively participate in development, leadership, and policy engagement. The Northwest Youth Development Consortium aims to build a collaborative platform where youth-led organizations can coordinate efforts, amplify youth voices, and drive sustainable solutions to the region’s social and economic challenges. At YandyTech Community, we believe that meaningful youth engagement is critical to building resilient communities and shaping inclusive development policies. We appreciate the Kaduna State Ministry of Youth Development for the warm reception and their commitment to supporting youth-driven initiatives. @YandyTech participated in the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, India, engaging with global leaders and practitioners to explore how responsible AI can accelerate development and solve real world challenges. Our Founder and CEO, @hackyayandy, also attended the Google Impact Summit APAC 2026 in New Delhi, where he joined conversations on innovation, impact, and inclusive technology. He further connected with builders, researchers, and ecosystem leaders at the Nigeria AI Collective Global Meetup, strengthening relationships and opening new opportunities for collaboration across regions. On the sidelines of these engagements, @YandyTech, in partnership with @NestAfricaAI, launched a new joint initiative: AI Integrated Workforce Development in Africa (AI IWDA). This initiative is focused on equipping African talent with industry relevant AI skills, expanding pathways to meaningful work, and supporting organizations to adopt AI responsibly through training, mentorship, and practical projects. #aiimpactsummit2026 #yandytechcommunity #googlesummit
