They called him: 「黒猫の幽玄」 The Yūgen Mirror Cat ╰───────────── ✦ ─────────────╯ 🐾 THE CAT MASK The mask is sacred. Not decorative. Not symbolic. It is the final vessel of an ancient cat spirit that devours corrupted memories. Its hollow eyes observe every timeline simultaneously. The metallic respirator attached to the muzzle filters the “Mirror Fog” a cursed substance capable of erasing identity itself. The hanging bell beneath the mask never rings. Because predators of the abyss move in absolute silence. ⚔︎ THE KEYBLADE His weapon was forged from a colossal dimensional key. A hybrid between: - an execution blade - a ceremonial katana - and an ancient mirror-lock mechanism The weapon does not cut flesh first. It cuts: - fate - memory - reality - reflections Every engraved rune across the blade contains the sealed soul of a fallen world. 🌑 THE MIRROR ABYSS Behind him float shattered mirrors suspended by chains. Each fragment reflects: - alternate catastrophes - forgotten civilizations - dead versions of himself - timelines consumed by darkness In the deepest layer of the abyss stands a gigantic tower shaped like the sacred key. A structure so massive its shadow eclipses entire cities. Akiko, born of the shingake village, the cherry kid that beamed the heart of the villagers being the bright child that she was, was forever scared by the attack by the Raikotsu Clan, they laid waste to the village and burned it to the ground, no single soul spared except that of Akiko who during the attack had been blinded by the slash from the blade of the Raikotsu master, “Masaru”. Last thing she ever laid her eyes on being the thunder bone on the flag of the Raikotsu, forever craved into the darkness of her memory. Found in the ruins of the once lively shingake village, Akiko was saved by the lone assassin, Takashi, who trains her to become the master Strategist and assassin she grew to become. Silent as the night, faster than the wind, Akiko was born anew, no longer the little defenseless girl traumatized by the Raikotsu Clan but now a force of nature with the sole purpose of wiping out the nefarious clan from the face of the earth. Akiko, during her journeys, encountered misfits like herself, warriors shaped by darkness of the past. Together they call themselves YUGEN, the mysterious group with a sense of unity, leaving their mark wherever they went, villages were protected and tyrants were vanquished without trace. YUGEN became a shadow legend. At last, YUGEN leader, Akiko marches her group to the fortress of the Raikotsu. They dismantle the clan’s forces with quiet precision. Akiko finally infiltrates Masaru’s inner chamber and clashes with Masaru who fought with overwhelming strength, but Akiko fought with prediction and purpose as Takashi had taught her, she channeled her suffering and then, finally, it ended. Masaru collapsed with a blade in his chest. The thunder-bone banner consumed by fire and the Raikotsu was no more. Akiko has completed her purpose but the story of YUGEN was far from over. This was the beginning of something new. “From darkness… we choose what comes next.” She whispers. @yugen_gg
