People behind the scenes who helped us save the 2-year-old steer that had fallen into a canal. Jeff and Tambra Maples, Javier Rodriguez, Heriberto Esquivel, and Danae Lee. You all played a part in helping us rope the steer. Thank you for your kind assistance to our deputies.💚

The Blue Banjo operated since the mid 1960’s. It was a notoriously rough, historic dive bar in downtown Yakima, known for cheap beer and a tough reputation. It closed in 2001. We have many stories about the Blue Banjo!

Things we do in our/your community. Deputy Sandoval saw a large column of smoke. He notified dispatch and drove to the area. He saw a shed on fire next to a house. He quickly alerted the occupants of the home. Thanks to his actions he likely prevented serious injury or death.

If this is your truck, we found it! Deputy Wilkinson was patrolling the area of Connie Rd and found a stolen vehicle reported to the Zillah Police. It appears the thieves needed some tires and rims. Thieves, thieves, everywhere. #ThievesStayAway
