If 40 beheaded babies without any evidence was enough for the West to justify levelling Gaza — what does the US deserve for killing over 160 children in Iran? Should we see New York flattened? Is that the West’s version of justice?

The American under cover guy has returned to the Pleateau with his divisive campaign of disharmony. Somedays he will be seeing with Military kits and riffle and another day he will be seeing on shut nickers and pretending to be a missionary who preaches the word of God. @DHQNigeria @HQNigerianArmy @OfficialDSSNG

Matt, let me educate you on the points you’ve raised: America is the richest country in the world today because it invades countries and pillages their resources to build its own. Not because Americans are more hardworking or smarter than anybody else, but because its government steals whatever it sets its sights on. The recent invasion of Venezuela and the theft of its oil are still fresh in the world’s memory. And even though you “left” Iraq after invading it in 2003 under the false claim of WMDs, the Iraqi people still do not have access to their oil wealth except as Washington allows. No, America is not the most powerful country in the world. China is. America only seems powerful because it is the most brutal empire to have existed since the inception of humanity. America sees nothing wrong with killing schoolchildren, carpet-bombing cities, and using nuclear weapons on its enemies. It is this brutality that makes Americans erroneously think America is powerful. True power is pragmatic, patient, and slow to resort to violence, qualities which America lacks. This is why, even though China is the most powerful country in the world, it has not invaded any neighbours, kidnapped or assassinated leaders of sovereign countries, or used force. It prefers to settle disputes diplomatically. And this is exactly why the world now looks to China as the leader of the free world. Finally, America is the most charitable country in the world because it costs it nothing to be charitable, but its charity doesn’t come free. The dollar system it has imposed on the world makes it seem charitable: it costs nothing to print dollars and distribute them to Global South countries in exchange for resources. When those countries refuse your dollars, you organise regime change by bribing dishonest dissidents in their governments. Unlike China, you never help poor countries develop infrastructure, because that would mean helping them grow, something your foreign policy despises. You only give them dollars printed for free, which end up in the pockets of your installed puppets. It is also why you can sponsor terrorism under the guise of charity through institutions like USAID. Don’t take my word for it, a US congressman revealed this. So, Matt, I advise you to learn more about your own country. You’d realise that even though you’re the richest, you live on stolen wealth, you are not the most powerful but only the most brutal, and your charity is not really charity but a terrorism-funding and regime-change ploy.

America is the richest, most powerful, and most generous country in the world. We are so superior to everyone else, and so charitable and kind and helpful, that unfortunately many of the lesser countries on the globe have become welfare queens who expect us to coddle, care for, fund, fight for and protect them. We are the parents who have taken good care of our children, but have not forced them to contribute enough, or earn their own keep, and now they are spoiled, ungrateful, and helpless. It’s time to cut the umbilical cord and force the rest of the countries to stand on their own two feet. We can’t do everything for everyone.

I just learnt that Nigerian police officers pay for their own uniforms themselves; The NPF has budgets, but officers often use their money to purchase uniforms and their own kits. Can you imagine. What a country.

Dear @AppleMusic We have a responsibility to mute predators, especially influential ones - the ones with power. It doesn't matter how long it takes. If a predator selfconfesses, there is a moral obligation to take. You cannot continue to platform @SympLySimi #MuteSimi

Hi @AppleMusic Below are the confessions of one of Nigeria's top female artistes. She was 23 and had disgusting affinity for 4 year olds. Predators are dangerous, talk more of predators with influence. What are you policies against predators on your platform? #SimiWhy

I read this and the first thing I feel is a deep sense of sadness for whatever trauma or fear of marriage has pushed this sister to this point. Without mincing words, the direct answer is no. This arrangement is haram and not accepted in Islam. Let me help you understand why. In Islam, a marriage contract built on a temporary timeframe or a pre-planned mutual agreement to divorce is invalid. If you both agree beforehand that the marriage will end after a few years or after childbirth, this is classified as Nikah al-Muwaqqat (a time-bound marriage) or Nikah al-Mut'ah (temporary marriage). The Prophet strictly forbade this in clear terms. Let’s take a look at how Allah defined marriage in the Quran, In Surah An-Nisa, Allah calls it: مِيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا "Mithaqan Ghaliza" which translates to a solemn, heavy covenant. The core foundation of a valid Islamic marriage is the intention of permanence. You enter it intending forever. If you place a condition in the contract that says you will divorce after having a child, that condition destroys the validity of the entire contract because it contradicts the fundamental Maqasid (objectives) of marriage. The goal of marriage is Sakinah (tranquility), Mawaddah (love), and Rahmah (mercy), not just reproduction. In fact, the scholars of Fiqh addressed this thoroughly. Imam Ibn Qudamah in his monumental book Al-Mughni makes it very clear. A marriage contracted with a stated mutual agreement to divorce at a certain time or after a certain event is void. You cannot treat the Nikah like a rental agreement or a business incubator just to extract a child and terminate the deal. It turns a sacred bond into a mere transaction. Having said that, my honest advice to this sister is to look inward and seek healing. Why do you want to run away after the child is born? It sounds like you are terrified of sharing your life with a man or you have given up on the idea of a peaceful home due to bad experiences or observations. Don’t do that. Do not let bad examples of marriages around you make you seek invalid loopholes in the Deen. Having a child is a lifelong commitment, and a child deserves to be raised in a stable home with both parents, not a broken home by design. Pray for a righteous spouse who will be a partner in raising that child. You cannot cheat the system Allah designed and expect His Barakah in it. I hope this helps you. Allah knows best.

One thing that fascinates me about Kano is the scale of wealth created through commerce. Yet, one can’t help but wonder what the city would look like today if more billionaires had invested in manufacturing instead of only trading. The few, like Mamuda Group, show it’s possible.
