He said with a soft chuckle, his gaze purposefully avoiding her own.
He was still terrible with talking to girls as he ever was.

He let out a soft sigh and closed his eyes. He remembered the Saibaman, he remembered Gero, he remembered the Tournament of Power and how his friends didn't choose him.
He was a liability.
"I . . . just need to get strong, that's all."

Kaki gave him back a wry smile before shaking her head. "Don't be stubborn, now," she chided, approaching until she stood before him. "Besides, resting doesn't mean doing nothing."
