Day 2 of your period is usually the worst! That’s when cramps peak, flow is heaviest, and hormones are at their lowest so your body is doing the most all at once.

We need the next generation of girls to be taught about PCOS, Endometriosis and all related. They can't get the same "just take panadol" energy we got. Next thing you're being rushed to surgery for things that were sidelined for years.. I hope it gets better for them..

Apply! Apply! Apply! This program really shifted how I think about Uganda and service here. It’s brought a lot into perspective on how we build @YambiCommunity! My colleagues in the public sector can say the same. I started my policy post-grad because of Huduma!

At Yambi Community, our translated pamphlets are helping us reach more women and girls in ways that feel familiar and inclusive. In 2026, we’re going even further expanding into more Ugandan languages to ensure no one is left out of the conversation. #InclusiveHealth

We showed up at Cycles, Seasons & Sisterhood by JBUG Collective and Suki Wellness and it was such a beautiful, intentional space. We led an engaging session on Endometriosis, had an honest menstrual cycle panel, and even raised some money through your generous donations.

At the Flower Fest, the grand finale of the @BecauseofHerUg exhibit we hosted a pop-up with a simple challenge: Myth or Fact?🤔 For just UGX 2,000, guests tested their menstrual health knowledge and every play turned into a donation supporting our community outreaches.
