Very happy to see our students who hadn’t have any XR knowledge but learned to develop XR applications and apply them in civil engineering domain. Design and develop this course from scratch wasn’t easy but it’s certainly fun! I enjoyed every bit of it.

The exhibition at @tudelftlibrary highlights our master students’ XR applications developed during course eXtended Reality for civil engineering. We had students from different #civilengineering backgrounds and applied #XR to solve civil engineering challenges.

@YanFeng520 @PED2023 Great study! I wonder if we need to further confirm its validity. During actual nighttime, we are often tired, our decision-making abilities are impaired by circadian rhythms, and our security perceptions may differ. Accounting for these factors might yield different results.

🚨New publication alert! Arco van Beek, our PhD student published an article on using #VirtualReality to study the impact of lighting on pedestrian route choice. It was published in the SI of @PED2023 in Safety Science. Feeling very proud to witness this milestone of my student.

Of course there're many other moments that I feel proud of my students. But at this moment I feel even happier than my own paper got accepted 😂
