Garrett Martin could be an MLB option for the Yankees if he keeps this up. A righty outfielder who can play 3 OF positions and hit for power has a lot of value.

@YankeeSource Call me crazy, but I think he could be a more useful player for the Yankees than Dominguez or Jones right now. Martin can play all three outfield positions and is a right-handed batter with absurd raw power.

@chasingpacks Liñan doesn’t have a fastball that can play at higher levels. Until that changes, he's not in the picture. Facundo’s velocity is solid, and I think he's destined for short relief. Not sure if the Yankees trade him with starter value right now.

@YankeeSource Appreciate the answer. Have been surprised to see how highly some outlets are ranking Liñan, but figured maybe there was a higher upside as an RP. Hope Briend and co. are able to work some magic with Chivilli. Facundo ever recover the velo?

Reyzelman’s stuff looked great in his prior appearance. Some batted ball contact didn’t go his way, but velocity, strikes, and aggression was there. Sweeper is a legit strikeout pitch.

The Yankees offense could use some home runs right now. Manufacturing is dead for the moment.

Puello has been a menace in Single-A. Catching needs work as mentioned on our Report, but he could be a good power-hitting C/OF prospect in the system for a few years.

@johndelfel @TalkinYanks He’s overly aggressive at times, but taking that away isn’t a great idea. Everyone has some flaw. His pros outweigh his cons though.

@YankeeSource Outs on the bases frustrating at times but he’s been a good addition. Despite what Boone says on @TalkinYanks I’d rather he be in the infield!

@avgeek0108 He’s played well enough to earn more PT , especially against lefties. Since he plays no other position, Caballero’s flexibility will work against him and he’ll have to rotate through other positions.

@YankeeSource Volpe sucks he shouldn't be on this roster. They refuse to take him out of the lineup.

The Yankees are in a weird spot with the Caballero situation. Caballero is a better right fielder but they have Dominguez out there. Volpe is hitting, so he’ll play some shortstop for now and he plays no other position. It’s an unfortunate situation for Caballero, because he’s playing left and that’s not a strong spot for him.
