The inaugural ATP Athens is almost over, and only now are we getting proper comments from players about the playing conditions – it’s been a bit of a guessing game all week. 🎙️ Musetti: “The court is fast, and it’s not easy to get into a match rhythm.” 🎙️ Hanfmann: “I played well in Shanghai but expect more rallies tomorrow, as the balls don’t bounce very high here. It feels a bit like grass.” Looking at 1st-serve points won % and hold rates, imo the conditions resemble the Almaty Open in terms of court speed.
