Reception have explored self-portraits by a range of artists, including Pablo Picasso and Frida Kahlo. They were inspired to create their own versions using pencils and oil pastels. The results were amazing, showcasing their creativity and individuality! #yarmearlyyears #yarmart

Year 5 are celebrating National Poetry Day by taking part in the Off Heart poetry competition. The children rehearsed their chosen poem that they will preform confidently from memory.

This afternoon, Year 5 visited the local church to support their learning in RE, exploring the topic "what does it mean for God to be loving and holy?" The children asked some excellent questions to deepen their knowledge.

Year 6 have been enjoying their DEAR Time in the KS2 library today. We love reading and sharing books with one another. #yarmenglish
