@YashD283 I had a similar experience, gave my first interview, had no idea about how to approach system design interviews at that time. The discussion went on for 50 mins, in the end got rejected. But it pushed me to understand systems in greater depth. In the end everything worked out!

I failed my first system design interview. In 15 mins, the challange was to reverse engineer their platform. Took it as a motivation and mastered system design leaving no room for error.
