I had the misfortune of getting into a debate with a British liberal who insisted that it was wrong for me to "blame the asylum seekers" for trying to seek a good life away from their "hellholes" which she thought the average British person should somehow take responsible for, claiming that because Britain is so good it had the responsibility to look after these illegal aliens, many of whom are criminals. She also said that it was wrong for me to call them criminals or to assume that any of them were up to no good, despite the fact that they commit more crimes per capita than any other demographic and have no love or loyalty to the countries they invade. Asked why Britain and Europeans in general had the responsibility to look after these people given the declining economy, the stagnant wages, and the lack of hope, prosperity or any opportunity for upward mobility for any working class person in the UK, she said it was "broader economic factors" that were responsible and not the fact that they keep letting millions of illegals into the country and inviting them to do so by giving away free shit. In other words, no solution. It really do be like that.

Unlike previous cases involving pirated digital books, this involves actual printed books being wiped out. This means original versions of rare works, local histories, and personal memoirs could be permanently lost, with the only remaining version locked inside private AI databases. A federal judge has reportedly ruled the practice can fall under fair use in certain cases. They’re buying history, scanning it, and then erasing the physical evidence. Is this the future of preserving knowledge... or the opposite?

The Woke Reich isolationists celebrate the president when he scales back military action and enters into negotiations with the enemy but are either silent or lash out against MAGA conservatives who support the president's military action against Iran -- carefully avoiding criticism of the president, who is calling the shots.  They do this even though it is crystal clear that negotiations are not working, that the enemy has never honored any deals during its 47-year reign of terror (including recent ceasefires and the MOU), and that the regime's Islamist ideology would, in fact, result in it using nuclear weapons against us (as the president has correctly noted repeatedly).  What the Woke Reich isolationists have never explained is what their approach would have been?  Apart from slogans and name-calling, what would they have done?  It seems they would have done nothing, meaning that the enemy would have finished developing nuclear weapons, and apparently, they're okay with that despite the enormous risk to our country and humanity generally.  Furthermore, while most of them claim to support the president, obviously they oppose him having launched military operations against the Iranian regime.  They are not supporting the president.
