Year 1 will be having a leavers party on Wednesday 16th July in the afternoon, during school time. We will gratefully receive any pre packed party food to share at the party. Thank you 😁

Congratulations to Aisha who was awarded the trophy for swimmer of the week in her swimming lessons on Wednesday evening.

Our Military children had a lovely day yesterday at the Service Pupil Promise event. They created small plaques which will be made into a display.

Well done to Kai and Jake whose football team came third in their tournament on the weekend. A big wow to Novah for receiving her dance trophies.

Year 1 have been Empathy Explorers today. #empathylab We have discussed the meaning of Empathy, coloured Elmer pictures, written about what makes us happy, and made empathy superpower glasses 🤓 #empathyday2025

Congratulations to Thea in Year 1 who has received two medals in Gymnastics and a medal for completing the Colour Run in Neyland.

We have been sorting using a Venn diagram today. Following on from our coexistence topic we have looked at differences between people but remembering we are all equal. #ambitiouscapablelearners

Egg Drop Investigation. Year 1 have been investigating materials to protect their egg, when they drop it! They have tried bubble wrap, paper, straws, card and cotton wool, securing them with tape or bands. We had quite a few cracked eggs but we did save some from cracking!
