@TSP_Primary @HelpPicture Photographs can help support our lives such as imagery of our body in hospitals, photos on reviews so we know what experiences look like and to help capture memories. However, we are also weary that some images can be fake or edited 🧠💭

It was time for the Year 4 annual @jeansforgenes catwalk! Not only did we strut our stuff on the runway, but we also raised awareness of the daily challenges faced by those living with a genetic condition 👖💫💙 #JeansforGenesWeek #Enjoy

For #NationalCodingWeek, we expanded our knowledge of Computer Science by completing coding activities in the @hourofcode challenge 👾💻👩‍💻🧑‍💻 #TSPComputing #ComputerScience

To recognise our #TSPCW values this month, we considered ways we can show Respect and Dignity in school, at home and in our community. Our actions demonstrate to others the importance of treating people as we would like to be treated 💖💫 #Respect #Dignity

Just like George himself, we caused some mischief around school today as we created our very own Marvellous Medicines. We loved taking inspiration from a @roald_dahl classic and celebrating #RoaldDahlDay on what would have been his birthday 📖📚🧪🎂 #TSPEnglish

@TSP_Primary @HelpPicture Year 4 shared their thoughts on pre-planning for events that could happen such as having a spare tyre in the car or a coat even if it doesn’t look like it’s raining. We stressed the importance of remaining calm and seeing events as new experiences 🧠💭

In support of @FairtradeUK, we discussed the reality of ‘who gets what’ from the sale of bananas by unpicking the different jobs and responsibilities in the banana production chain 🛳️🛒🍌 #FairTrade #Equality #MutualRespect

It was time for a spot of football this morning to help us identify the thousands, hundreds, tens and ones in a given number. We passed the ball through the goals to represent the value of each digit 💙⚽️ @TeachActive #TSPMaths #TSPPE #PlaceValue #Enjoy

@TSP_Primary @HelpPicture Year 4 focused their thinking about ways we could work together to provide support for others through giving food, resources and a helping hand. We also spoke about being a listening ear and comforting support for others 🧠💭

In English, we used different coloured paper to help us form expanded noun phrases. By adding extra detail, we turned a simple noun into a descriptive sentence to describe what we could see on the first page of our new read ‘Gorilla’ 📖🦍 #TSPEnglish #ExpandedNounPhrases

After recalling our times tables to work out the numbered part we needed to locate, we visited the builders yard to find the windows, doors and chimneys to build our houses 🏠🚪🪟💙 #TSPMaths #Timestables #Enjoy

Team building turned into hysterical laughter as we recreated the game ‘Twister’. After being directed to a coloured cone, we helped each other to move our arms and legs to the given position. There were a few topples to say the least! 😂💙👭👬👫 #Teamwork #Enjoy

It was time for a Year 4 favourite today, as we took part in our first book tasting session. We were delighted to sample a range of ‘courses’ to decide which book from our class library we would like to read in class 📚📖🍽️ #TSPEnglish #LoveToRead #ReadingGivesYouWings
