@Gate14Pod @AveryChenier As someone who lived in Japan last year and has watched a ton of npb, he’s one of those hitters that always seems to get a hit when you need it. Whether it’s driving runners in, or starting a rally, he’s one of those guys who you hate to see as a opposing fan due up.

ended up bricking the rc. A little disappointed in myself for how I played on the day of, but was happy with my pre-event prep. Have many things to work on for the next one 💪

I ended up doing a lot of mental gymnastics and consumed large amounts of copium not to register breach even while testing it. Hopefully I learned my lesson and will do better next time. Otherwise I am proud of my testing, and work put in. I am very excited to play tomorrow.

@mrbabywhitesilk I also think from the negative news over here, going to a place where Japanese players have been very popular but there is no current player there would be a good way to increase his popularity/market overseas (which would be a plus to the jays)

@yakyucosmo That’s one thing about npb lineups I’ve never understood, even being a baystars fan I’ve always wondered why kajiwara is hitting in the 2 hole instead of someone like maki, obv hitting kondoh in the 5 spot is insane, just something that npb managers seem to do.

Hiroki Kokubo is marginally better than Hiroshi Fujimoto, and there are some things he deserves credit for, but it’s awfully hard to mess up a series this bad with a roster this good. How’s hitting the best player in NPB 5th in the lineup working out by the way?
