🚨🇺🇸 | Makayla Settles, de 18 años, murió por suicidio meses después de denunciar que fue violada durante 4 horas por su padre, Stephen Vincent Chavez, en California.
Según su familia, el hecho ocurrió en julio de 2025, poco después de mudarse con él. La joven quedó tan lesionada que su tío tuvo que cargarla al hospital, donde le realizaron un examen forense. El hombre fue arrestado por cargos de violación e incesto, pero se declaró inocente y actualmente está en libertad bajo fianza.
Tras regresar a Carolina del Norte, la familia asegura que Makayla sufrió graves secuelas emocionales hasta su fallecimiento en diciembre de 2025.
El caso continúa abierto. Una audiencia clave el 21 de abril de 2026 definirá si el proceso sigue adelante, mientras sus familiares exigen justicia.

Me crié viendo a mi mamá pedir permiso para gastar.
No era violencia. Era "respeto." Así le llamaban.
Mi papá decidía qué se compraba, cuándo, con cuánto.
Mi mamá tenía que justificar cada gasto como si fuera una empleada presentando un informe.
Tardé años en entender por qué me costaba tanto gastar dinero sin sentir culpa.
El dinero que nunca fue tuyo igual te deja una huella.
Y la autonomía financiera no es un lujo feminista.
Es la diferencia entre vivir tu vida y pedir permiso para vivirla.

Her boyfriend organizes with his 3 older brothers, they trick the foreigner into a nature reserve with the promise of sexual favors, overpower him, strangle him and hang his body from a tree in the forest (trying to stage it as suicide). Arrested. The oldest of the 4 brothers (18 at the time) gets life sentence. The other three brothers and the girl herself get between 3 and 4 years in closed youth detention (the girl and her 15-year-old boyfriend got 3.5 years each for aiding and abetting, as they weren’t at the scene). In appeal, three brothers acquitted of murder, the oldest one gets 7 years instead of life, the others get closed youth care.

Los españoles no religiosos somos más del 40% de la población y la televisión pública está llenando la pantalla de procesiones, alguna tan aberrante como la de la Legión en Málaga. Muchos religiosos están en contra de esa exhibición belicista y suntuosa contraria al cristianismo.
