I do get into political arguments from time to time, just tired of seeing human rights being treated like an opinion. Bad people being held accountable isn't "bending the knee".

People vastly underestimate how horribly a false accusation can harm a man. I honestly believe it to be comparable to rape.
One is a horrific acute trauma.
The other is a systemic dismantling of your entire life that you'll never recover from.

Believing all women with no burden of proof naturally requires assuming guilt in men. It made this problem unanimously worse.

@Arin_Yumi Japan is absolutely one of the safest places on earth for women and kids but that does not mean criminals and bad people don't exist. The fact that people assume they MUST be migrants because "japanese people can do no wrong" is a bit insane.

Every time a crime happens in Japan, there's always a wave of people on Twitter immediately trying to tie it to immigration, without any evidence. As the community note clearly states, the suspect is a Japanese man with no connection to immigration.
It's honestly disgusting that the first reaction to a tragic incident is to twist it into something that pushes a political agenda.

@ReignOfTea @RestoreBritain_ The point is if we bring back the death penalty then the cost of the process to do it would be immense, unless you are advocating for a fast easy death sentence which is horrific to even suggest because that would create room for error and wrongful conviction

The death penalty is more expensive than life imprisonment. In the USA (which has far worse prison conditions) the average cost to sentence to death is 5 times higher than life imprisonment.
