Grab paper and pencil: Your argument commits: - Ecological fallacy – attributing group statistics to individuals - Selection bias – only choosing crimes that support the narrative - Ignoring confounders – poverty, segregation, policing policy 👉🏾 Statistics used without context are propaganda, not “empirical” analysis.
