@NinianMod There are, I drive the a470 regularly and the 1st matrix sign is all Welsh, yes the next one is in English but it could be too late by then, I don't speak or understand Welsh the sign could be saying anything, and guaranteed most cars behind me won't understand it either

That could be the start of a series of attacks against the Welsh language possibly leading to its demise. No let's have bilingual signs and allow people to choose the language they prefer to use. BTW there are no Welsh only signs in Wales.

I’ve just spent a week driving in the Highlands, on roads long since unfamiliar to me, and the split second extra it takes to find the placename in English, especially approaching a roundabout, takes your eye off the road for longer and potentially dangerously.

@democracycymru @NeilAlcock Monmouth should be separate and semi autonomous, it is traditionally part of England with a strong attachment to Wales.
