Trading isn’t easy, one week you think you know it and the next week, your trade hits SL on a daily. I am tired

@EliteDei Hi @EliteDei Congraulations. I am looking for accountability partners. Discipline is my only challenge now. Do you have a team or group of friends that you guys trade together?

I just realized that in this trading journey, you need a team, and this is for motivation, I just realized that doing it alone will be slower because why will I have a set up , follow it but can’t keep on following it. Sometimes one bad trade spoils all my efforts. I need an accountable partner if I can get more than 1, then that fine, but I need 1. Anyone???

I made money last week and lost to all to over trading, impatience and not following my setup. All the things I said I would do, I did. I think I need a small circle of traders that I can join and we all will be accountable for our selves.

I truly admire your transparency both your wins and your losses are laid bare, nothing is hidden, and that level of honesty is rare. What stands out even more is how openly you acknowledge Christ and the Holy Spirit as your guide in trading. That’s something I’ve not seen other traders confidently express, and it’s deeply inspiring. One thing I’m really curious about, how do you effectively manage and analyze so many pairs? This is the growth I pray for, nobody believes in me now and people think I am wasting my time learning trading. They don’t understand, that I see this as my destiny, there are lives I need to touch, people that look up to me, I can’t quit now! I am trading for my future and for them.

I started small too‼️ No money. No handouts. Just belief and a vision nobody else could see. My first ever payment for a trading class was ₦50,000. Back then, that money was heavy for me. But I understood something early - investing in knowledge can change your whole bloodline. The journey wasn’t smooth. I felt resistance too. I got discouraged. I was told to focus only on school and leave trading alone. To many people, it looked unrealistic. To me, it felt like destiny. So I kept going. I studied when it was hard. I stayed locked in when results were slow. I believed in myself before there was evidence to. And today, that same faith has given me everything I own. Read that again. Everything I own came from not quitting on myself. If you’re struggling right now, good. That means you’re in the part of the story that builds you. The pressure, the setbacks, the silent grind, the doubt, all of it is forging something bigger than you can see today. Do not stop now. Do not fold now. Do not let a slow season convince you to abandon a life-changing path. Your current reality is temporary. Your discipline can outgrow your circumstances. Be honest what’s your biggest challenge in trading right now? Mine is Patience, need to learn to resist the urge of closing a trade before it hits SL or TP. Called this trade last week and closed early, it hit TP for everyone else that took it. Smh

@Techriztm I need help, mentally, I know exactly what to do, i take good trades, no 🧢.But I take a trade and end up changing it or closing it when in loss. My account is in red when 1 trade can all the loss. What book or video can you recommend that can help with my psychology @Techriztm

Those of you yet to get your “first Payout” What is really the problem ?

This trade went bad in a twinkle of an eye. Told myself I ain’t going to trade in London sessions. I will just stick to that.

Took 3 losses yesterday, had to rest and wait for NY session today before placing a trade. I have a small account. Risk mgt is priority to me. Trade played out well . Until tomorrow fellas.

@EmmyTP77 @midrizzy1 @Techriztm @Marresecira On point. Many people have the perfect strategy but always loose because they are yet to know how to control their emotions. Discipline should be taught first to upcoming traders before they learn market structure.

Instead of waking up and doing things randomly, I already knew what I was supposed to do and when to do it. If I was rushed, emotional, tired, or even too excited, I wouldn’t trade, no matter how perfect the setup looked. At first it felt like I was missing opportunities, but later I realized I was actually saving myself from self-inflicted losses. The market didn’t change… I did. And the more I respected my mental state, the more consistent my results became. ⇨ I stopped trying to fix everything in my trading at the same time. @lex_consults Goatfunded is not,how do you go around reducing my daily draw down from my overnight profit....the reason I failed to make a single penny out after passing the 5k account phases 😭

Prop firms are good, they really came through for those with little capital to be able to scale up But once you start getting consistent payouts, expect email at anytime While on that, ensure you have a little something as personal capital from your payouts

What is your strategy? Some one asked me. And I told him I look out for one thing. 80% of the time, it plays out exactly as should and that’s is enough for me.

Time to analyze all the trades taken last week.

@DionTrades_ You are not alone on this table. You can have the best strategy but if you ain’t got hold of your emotions, it will ruin everything, I have blown how many accounts, I have stopped keeping track of it but I have to learn, it may take a while but I will be patient.

I blew my first funded account in 3 days. I thought I was finally there. Years of work. Hundreds of challenges. Finally funded. Gone in 72 hours. Because the moment it became real money, my emotions went places they'd never been before. Getting funded and staying funded are completely different games. Has anyone else experienced this?
