@MillyCrypto_ Yep, we had the same experience this week. @castrumistanbul fortunately responded instantly confirming our assumptions on the ongoing scam. They are aware of their team members accounts being compromised, but still a great move to make people aware of it. 👍

⚠️ Scam alert. I had a scheduled onboarding call this week and the chat even had a real photo of us from WebX Tokyo, so nothing looked suspicious. The first meeting was on Teams, thankfully my Mac didn’t let me join. We rescheduled for Google Meet and I sent the link myself. The meeting started but I couldn’t hear. While he was “fixing his mic,” I was scrolling Telegram… and I saw someone exposing the exact same Teams invite I’d received as a scam. 😶 Only THEN I checked our chat, and saw him saying he “couldn’t hear me?,” telling me to talk more, and even asking me to move around the camera. Hung up Went back to the chat and realised there was no handle. Instant red flag. Please double-check meeting links + profiles — these scams are getting sneaky 🤍🛡️ (Someone is impersonating David) You need more eyes than a spider in this space.
