In the light of #Easter, let us allow ourselves to be amazed by Christ! Let us allow our hearts to be transformed by his immense love for us! Let those who have weapons lay them down! Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace! Not a peace imposed by force, but through dialogue! Not with the desire to dominate others, but to encounter them!

This is a Vigil filled with light, the oldest in the Christian tradition, known as the “mother of all vigils.” In it we relive the victory of the Lord of life over death and the underworld. #Easter

If you are old enough, you k ow everyone has a Dr Beckley tooli…
I’m sure he didn’t even grow up in Accra

In a resurfaced interview, Agya Koo recounted how an elderly woman saved him from Dr. Sri Yogi Ram Beckley, a notorious self-proclaimed ritualist and witch doctor based in Fadama, Accra. Dr. Beckley’s name was synonymous with fear, especially in the Greater Accra Region, during the 1990s and early 2000s.
Recounting the chilling experience from his early days as a struggling street cobbler in Accra, Agya Koo said he was going around looking for shoes to repair when he approached a large building in Fadama. Someone inside called out to him to come in and fix his shoes. As he was about to enter, an unknown elderly woman suddenly called out to him. She insisted that he repair her shoe first, repeatedly warned him not to enter the house, gave him some money, and urged him to leave immediately. Covered in goosebumps, Agya Koo followed her advice and left. He later learned that the building belonged to Dr. Beckley, who was arrested just two days later.
