The stupidity is off the charts It is a charity, Hatzola, which was set up, funded and run by the Jewish community on behalf of the whole community (anyone who needs it, regardless of race or religion). The Jewish community saw a need, and mobilised to fix it.

@RachelMoiselle I have no problem with ambulances funded by the jewish community. I however have witnessed there bullying paramedics bullying staff and getting there patients fast tracked at Barnet General Hospital A&E over other NHS patients waiting.

Hatzola was established in 1979 by members of the Orthodox Jewish community in North London. It is a volunteer, non-profit organisation providing rapid pre-hospital emergency medical care and ambulance response free of charge to the community, serving both Jewish and non-Jewish patients alike. In 2026 four of its ambulances are burned down in Golders Green. I can’t think of a more tragic illustration of the destructive nature of antisemitism, which harms both the Jewish community and wider society at large. Hatzola is of benefit to everyone: a shining example of the contribution Jewish communities endeavour make to their respective diaspora societies. The arsonists responsible for this heinous act do not share the same desire to contribute to Britain; their only intent is to destroy. Any society that adopts a passive attitude towards such antisemitic criminals is, in equal measure, betraying its loyal Jewish citizens and acting in a manner of profound self-harm.

It appears there's a significant concern regarding the operation of jews community-specific ambulance services only. Could anyone elaborate on the rationale behind this arrangement? More like a false flag perpetrated by Mossad.... Could you please clarify why these ambulances were exclusively allocated to the Jewish community? We are seeking to understand why they were not utilized to assist the general populace of London facing critical circumstances.

Police have launched an investigation after four ambulances from the Jewish volunteer service Hatzola were set on fire in Golders Green. Sky's @olivermiocic reports from the scene where he has spoken to residents about the arson attack. trib.al/eC7unI5

My Iranian mother collapsed on the morning of Christmas Day. The volunteers of Hatzola were with us within five minutes: their service is literally a life-saver. The thugs who firebombed their ambulances celebrate the culture of death.

Wondering if the hearts of those frustrated by small acts of petty symbolism, by the feeling that smashed windows and graffiti on bakeries are simply not enough, are cheered by the upgrade to burning ambulances this morning.

This is a deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack.  My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news.  Antisemitism has no place in our society.  Anyone with any information must come forward to the police.

We are investigating an antisemitic arson attack on Jewish ambulances in Golders Green. We know this will cause significant concern in the local community and are stepping up patrols and engaging with faith leaders. Read more here: mynewsdesk.com/uk/metpoliceuk…

@SabirahLohn In the spirit of George Orwell, I have never been more convinced that William understands Britain’s quiet majority better than the intelligentsia, elites, and commentators who so often claim to speak for them while neither knowing nor liking them.

How many people were told to go to church every Sunday or were not allowed to go outside if they didn’t. How many of those people now stand clear away from the church because they feel like it was done forcefully not because they wanted to. Everyone should be allowed to approach religion and church service the way they want. Besides, some of these people that go to church all the time are the biggest hypocrites. That’s not saying everyone is, but there is a huge chunk of people. Let me also make it clear. The King approaches religion and church the way he chooses and Prince William is doing the same. I applaud William for this.
Roya Nikkhah@RoyaNikkhah

“His feeling is, ‘I might not be at church every day but I believe in it, I want to support it and this is an important aspect of my role and the next role and I will take it very seriously, in my own way’. He understands the importance of the role he’ll inherit.”

Prince William has shared more about his faith, and I have conflicting thoughts. It’s great that he sees the benefit of the church and has a “quiet faith”, but it’s troubling he doesn’t feel the need to attend or express and share his beliefs. Church attendance and being part of a community of faith is part of being Christian, in addition to evangelizing (i.e. talking about your faith and salvation with others). He either truly believes or it’s just a tradition that he thinks should continue but his personal faith journey will remain minimal. This doesn’t work as the head of the church. If he’s going to take the mantle as Head of the Church of England, then the Christian faith and practice must be essential to your life. If the Head of the Church doesn’t see the benefit of weekly attendance, then why would anyone else? The church would, in that situation, would die. thetimes.com/article/677fe4…

@RNN_RoyalNews And as someone who lives in England, Christian’s don’t care whether or not William attends church, because that’s not the reason WE attend. So respectfully, the church is not going to die if William doesn’t attend regularly.

@RNN_RoyalNews You’re American. It’s not your place to be troubled by this. Americans are our puritans, and our relationship to Christianity is different by design.

@Yes_IhaveME @Charlesvoicema1 What a bizarre argument. You’re laying out, in quite a lot of detail, exactly why she’d have even more reason to feel entitled, overlooked and furious - not less. If anything, you’ve made the case for her. Splendidly. Almost accidentally.

@Charlesvoicema1 And my post addresses the issue of spares and their over arching sense of entitlement, where it comes from and what can be done to ensure that it does not recur in future generations. Nothing pedantic about it.

Need some interesting Sunday reading? May I make a suggestion? Someone who has read Bower's book and gives us his thoughts. I especially like the last part where he talks about something that I have wondered about for some time: "Maybe if he'd (Bower) had more time he could have dug deeper into the spare problem: what can be done with spares like Harry and Andrew - and Princess Margaret before them - to keep them out of their various forms of trouble? But how to handle this perennial problem of the spare's enormous sense of entitlement, which is at least equalled by their enormous sense of resentment? And why do some spares - like the stout-hearted Princess Anne and the dull but decent Prince Edward — escape this curse?" Bonne lecture! 😃 archive.ph/iEdUF

This is a very welcome surprise. If the Church of England is to have a supreme governor then it goes without saying that it should be a believing member of it. This doesn’t directly affect Catholics, of course, but all British Christians should breathe a sigh of relief that our future head of state will be a professed Christian.
