@softpuppi My concern is if she can't even listen about this ask, what other things might she be doing that could put your baby in harms way. Not that she would, intentionally. But it seems like she's not thinking logically vs taking it so personally that you're asking anything of her

im honestly so tempted to just get a nanny cam bear or something, she keeps the baby mostly in her room with her, so i kinda don’t want to invade her privacy. I feel like shell pull the “my daughter is keeping my grandchild away from me” card if i tell her id rather she not interact with a kid that’s exposed to more germs and junk until she’s older

ALSO ADDING ONTO THIS IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A SICK KID OR YOU'RE SICK DO NOT LET THEM AROUND AN INFANT my mom watches her when i'm at work, if i can't bring her along, and my niece has had mega issues with me for years, big can of worms i do not want to touch. she lives with my mom with her husband and their kid, and they always push them to interact with my baby ONLY WHEN I'M NOT THERE, last week when i picked her up they were rushing their kid out of my mom's room saying ' no no don't go in there you're sick" but i know damn well she was in there the entire time so definitely looking into what i can do when i'm at work like i don't want to punish my mom but i need to protect my baby, but she's proven time and time again that i can't trust her fully. sorry just had to rant i'm stressed and lonely

TW: mold - 1/4 So we're in the process of what was supposed to be a fairly quick remodel on our home before our baby comes in a few weeks. Yesterday our contractor discovered a ton of mold from moisture damage in our master bedroom, which is so scary....
