His discussions with Akhilesh Yadav are said to be in the final stages. If everything goes as planned, Brij Bhushan could be seen on the Samajwadi Party platform by September or October. According to a close associate of Brij Bhushan, he has already had direct talks with Akhilesh Yadav. Discussions are reportedly underway regarding ticket distribution for several Assembly seats in Gonda, Balrampur, and Ayodhya. Brij Bhushan is said to be seeking influence over candidate selection in 20 to 25 seats. However, the Samajwadi Party has not yet clarified its stand on the matter.
