The tension building up to the reveal of Pirate Clark was just perfect - the redhead suddenly bolting, Clark and Mary looking around confused, the sound of those footsteps getting closer with that eerie music underneath it. And then the actual shot composition during his entry and the conversation with Clark leading right up to him devouring Clark. Everything about this scene was amazing
@aper6014@TheCineMoments Agreed, not only to mention that Clark’s death, was not only paired with some top tier screams, but it also made you realize that being one of the main characters didn’t mean shit, giving a step up to the anxiety during the following chase
@TheCineMoments honestly the entire dinner scene and everything leading up to & following this was just straight up some of the best 20 mins i’ve seen in any horror movie lately, every shot had me on edge the entire time and i never get tired of rewatching it
I looked down at my foot... and this was still hanging on!
We'd all been swimming in the creek, made it back to camp to hang out, and I happened to look down and realized I had a leech attached to my foot.
A little salt was all it took, and he let go before I pulled him off.
Just another story from a day in the outdoors.
Would you have freaked out or handled it like this? Let me know in the comments!
