I supported Leni in 2016. I didn’t support her in 2022. One of the dealbreakers was this photo. Call me petty but a real leader would have ordered the immediate removal of the trunk and clearing to make the road passable again. Clear roads mean fast delivery of relief goods and rehabilitation materials, the return of some semblance of normalcy. Leni used the fallen trunk for her photo-op and self-promotion. You can’t really blame me if I scrutinize every photo that shows she’s one of us.
