Most Traders get angry after taking a loss. This is because they put their ego on the line and really hope to be right. A lot of people have a very strong desire to be intellectually validated by the market. They want to experience the pleasant feeling of "my idea was correct and I am smart!" once price hits the target. But there's a big difference between "expecting to be right" and "expecting to have an edge." When expecting to have an edge, the outcome of the next trade doesn't matter as much. What matters is the outcome after the next 100~ trades or so. So if you just took an L from a trade and you're mad, it's just a sign that your attention is on the wrong thing. Zoom out. 🌶️
