It’s been almost two decades since fox hunting was banned in the UK. In December, Labour said it planned to follow through on its manifesto commitment to outlaw its legal replacement, known as trail hunting.

THE WYNNSTAY HUNT HAVE KILLED 💔🦊 Multiple foxes were released / bolted today and saved. Sabs & monitors were with them all day, but this 1 particular fox was chased for well over an hour and we couldn’t get there in time to save their life, killed in the farm shown. 💔😔🦊

Just two days before National Trail Hunting Day - the farcical event that has become known as Smokescreen Saturday - the HSA is releasing horrific footage of what one of the participating hunts gets up to when police, politicians and journalists are not invited to attend.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 ZERO trail hunting licenses have been granted for hunts to use Ministry of Defence land for the 2024/25 season. This is a huge win for local wildlife.
