@YorksGourmet Nothing this afternoon/evening at roost on Howden Moor
English

Any recent sightings of the #Lammergeier #beardedvulture in the Peaks? Anyone know if it’s back at its roosting site on Howden Moors? I’m heading out in the early hours tomorrow.

@SamHarr00273062 Fingers crossed for you. I’m back on Howden Moor right now. No joy!
English

@YorksGourmet Back now and didn’t see it going up again Saturday though fingers crossed 🤞
English

@DexyOwl Cool, thanks. I read somewhere a sighting over Froggat Edge but don’t know how legit. Also heard of a sighting at Middle Black Clough, Bleaklow. I’m also inclined to head back to Howden Moor. Third time lucky I hope! Good luck...

@YorksGourmet The last unconfirmed sighting was over Hope Valley on the 27th.
Also an unconfirmed sighting over Chatsworth House on the 29th I believe. I'm off to Strines Moor on Friday morning, just in case.

@SamHarr00273062 It will be my third trip tonight. Where were you this morning?
English

@YorksGourmet Yes I’m here now my third trip still not seen it missed it by 20 mins this morning
English

@SamHarr00273062 Interesting! Thanks! So it’s still around then. I wonder where it will roost tonight?

@YorksGourmet Merry Christmas Paul. Hope you have a good one.
English

@ZuzusBakery Sorry to hear it Tim. Hope all goes well with the wholesale side of things.
English

@YorksGourmet Maybe we should grab @paul_steele and head up there together one morning?

@monicashaw @domburch @thisgreenmoon Yeah bolstering the edge of the fire pit was much needed as it kept setting on fire the amount of heat we were generating!
English

@YorksGourmet @domburch @thisgreenmoon Interesting point regarding the perimeter. I just have a fire pit in the garden and I'll confess cooking with it has been variable! Very inspired to see people doing it well.

Great review of Friday's Fire & Dine, thanks to @domburch: baldhiker.com/2018/09/30/thi…

@paul_steele @domburch One of my favourite places. Definitely drone-genic!
English

@domburch @YorksGourmet A wonderful area!!! Yes.. need to get drone above there too . Thanks for idea
English

@monicashaw @domburch Thanks. It's been developed over time. The starting point was the fire pit in a primitive form, Paul @thisgreenmoon has beefed up the perimeter since to contain the heat!
English

@YorksGourmet @domburch Who designed the outdoor kitchen?? Looks awesome. (Just ordered me a tripod and dutch oven.)
