🚨 Victor Lozano (TV3): "I criticized Deco a lot over the Olmo deal, but now I applaud him for not getting carried away by this opportunist Bernardo, who is chasing money."
"He will go to Madrid for the money, for wealth, for money and money, alongside the translator. Let him go to Madrid, as far as I'm concerned, that's perfectly fine."
"He is a 31-year-old player who had a very poor season with Manchester City. He is not a priority, and we already have very good players in his position."
"One of the greatest quotes in Barça's history is the one from Johan Cruyff: 'If someone hesitates to play for Barça, then we don't need them,' especially if they're hesitating because of Real Madrid."

@TheCricketVault @appiecule Bigger yet going trophyless twice is not a good look
English

@appiecule Just accept the fact Real Madrid are bigger than Varsa and when there is a race it's always Madrid who are going to come on top no matter what

Am I disappointed that Bernardo Silva won’t join? Yes.
Am I going to blame the board for weeks? No.
The reality is simple: once Real Madrid entered the race, it became almost impossible. They can offer a 33-year-old Bernardo Silva a starting role and a higher salary. Barcelona can’t realistically guarantee him a place ahead of Pedri, De Jong or Fermín.
At Barça, he would have arrived mainly to strengthen the bench and add depth, not as an undisputed starter. Flick clearly doesn’t see Bernardo as a necessary piece of his project, while Mourinho is reportedly pushing hard for his fellow countryman because his team lacks creative midfielders and sees Bernardo as a key solution.
That’s why I’m not overly frustrated. Bernardo is a great player, but my priorities remain clear: a striker, full-backs and a top centre-back. Those are the signings I’ll judge the board on before the season starts.

🚨 Bernardo Silva to Real Madrid, HERE WE GO! Agreement in place and contract approved. Two year deal plus one year option, fast deal by Madrid started 36h ago and closed immediately. Mourinho wanted Bernardo, he says yes and advanced talks revealed today are 100% confirmed.
