Founded by my former student Daniel, the charity @youokaydoc offers vital mental health support to healthcare workers. Every week a British nurse dies by suicide, and every three weeks a British doctor takes their own life. We must do more to safeguard their welfare.

Workers with [compared to without] poor #mentalhealth are less likely to perform well, more likely to be absent & more likely to leave their job. Strongest evidence for prevention is having supportive teams i.e. good relationships with colleagues & managers. @MarchonStress

NEW PLATFORM FOR ALL PRESCRIBERS: A new free platform has been launched that’s essentially Netflix for medicines. The company behind it are keen to hear your views so they can make it as useful as possible. They’re also donating £5 to @YouOkayDoc for the first 200 registrants. It’s in beta mode right now, and you can register to try it out in here: multim3d.net/choose-register We think this could be a really great resource for prescibers and patients alike but what about you?
