A new group has been set up in Essex to address a gap in support for younger people with #dementia. 👥
The Young Minds Dementia Group meets weekly on Thursdays from 2.30-4.30pm at the Stroke and Wellness Centre, 85 Frinton Road, Holland-on-Sea, Essex CO15 5UH.

The Operation Ouch! Production Team is in the early stages of producing a special half-hour programme about dementia for Children's BBC.
The team is hoping to film a family in which a parent or grandparent is living with dementia and where a child or young person aged 7 to 15, who has a relationship with them, would feel comfortable sharing their experience on camera. 📹

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in our Share your experiences campaign on peer support. Over 150 people have completed the survey which has blown us away!
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be reviewing all survey responses and bringing the insights together. We’ll share our findings with you in the months ahead. We’re also planning to host a webinar later this year to explore this important topic in more depth, so keep an eye out for updates.
