@PresqueIslePete @pghjoker I'm not saying blow it up. I just understand frustrations. Philly is insane comparatively to the rest of the state. We lost to a charter school in '11 in PA sweet 16 Not once did I (or team) think we should be in a different league. Just knew we lost to a team that played better

@YoungMrJonesFHS @pghjoker Besides, not ALL private schools are winning state every year. Just a couple have. So blow up the whole system for less than 5 schools? This would all go away if the Philly area went back to staying out of the PIAA playoffs. THERE'S your problem.

@PresqueIslePete @pghjoker Public have to rebuild whereas private can recruit/reload every year. I'm not making excuses-- just saying the frustratuons are from these public schools that run in cycles (as far as state runs are comcerned) and private can snag whoever they want.

@PresqueIslePete @pghjoker Don't overlook the phenomenal athletic talent (that each public doesn't have every year) too. People get frustrated when you cultivate a student athlete up through 7/8th grade, then they transfer to a different school because their aau coach is there.

@PresqueIslePete @pghjoker Guarantee you won't find a coach that puts more work and time in than Jason Fulmer of Franklin. His group of seniors this year did play year round and gave it everything they had every open gym/practice/game/tournament/whatever it was.

@pghjoker I've seen it. Most private schools are working at their games all year long. Public schools are not. Coaches are there all year long to let their kids in the facility. Very few public coaches do this, Also, players aren't that religious about showing up for workouts.

Our Franklin Boys lost 60-56. Great game and season for the Knights. The community is very proud.
